Bobsleigh, parapenting, ice skating, ice karting, climbing wall, ski-doo...
If you have a non-skiing member of the family or group, they too can have a brilliant time in the Three Valleys! There is something to keep everyone amused in Méribel, Courchevel and the surrounding areas. Below you will find a taster of the activities we can arrange on your behalf.
Indoor & Inclement Weather Activities
Of course you don’t even have to leave the chalet…children and adults alike will find comfort and numerous facilities available in the chalet. Relax in the sauna or Jacuzzi, catch up with the latest news or sport with our full Sky TV package, amuse the children with a game of billiards or spread the board games across the floor! You could always sit back and watch the world go by and take in the panoramic views on the terrace, with a hot chocolate and a good book? Our massage and beauty therapists could come and pamper you with manicures, facials or full-body massage?
If you would like to venture further, your chauffeur can be with you in 15 minutes to whisk you to the cinema to see the latest releases in English or French, to have a game of ten-pin, or for a few lengths of the 25m indoor pool. Feeling energetic? Then hire some skates and go for a twirl on the Olympic size ice rink!
Winter / Snowy Activities
Snow-shoes and Walking
What can you do when the winter sun is beaming through the windows and a welcome carpet of soft fluffy snow has fallen? The snowfields around Méribel and Courchevel are the perfect places to take a guided walk or snow-shoe to discover the mountain flora and fauna and get away from it all! You will discover places that are off the beaten track and encounter animals and birds which you wouldn’t usually meet!
This is great fun for all the family and surprisingly aerobic! You will be in charge of your OWN team of husky dogs, hurtling through the twists and turns of the forest paths and slopes (where you might have to help the dogs push to the top!)
Ski-doos (snow mobiles)
They look like giant jet-skis, but the ski-doo has a tank style track to give traction and motion. After the pistes have closed, you will be briefed by your instructor before heading off on a circuit or through the forest, it is fast and furious and completely unforgettable!
Hot Air Ballooning
To mark a special occasion you could splash out on a hot air balloon flight. Rising high above the mountains and dipping low between the valleys, the pilot will point out points of interest as you go. This is a unique and magical experience and you can even add champagne breakfast to top the treat off!
There are many other activities to whet your appetite such as piste-bashing, tandem paragliding, pony sleigh rides, scenic flights, quad biking and bobsleighs! For full details please contact our Customer Services Manager or speak with your Chalet Manager. We can pre-book or arrange any of these activities plus many more on your behalf. Just let us know!
